Are You an EFTPreneur?
“A funny thing happened to me on the way to success…” Many entrepreneurs are bursting with energy and adrenalin at the beginning, but get derailed on the way to the finish line.
Does the enticement of a significantly increased income, being your own boss & doing what you love suddenly cease to be inspiring?
Here is how my business client, Alan, summed it up, “I would be okay with two steps forward, one step back – but I feel like it’s one step forward and two steps back!” Alan is an experienced & creative graphic artist who went solo three years ago. His three greatest challenges, though potentially destructive, are far from unique:
- Perfection paralysis. He sometimes doesn’t do it at all because he can’t get it perfect immediately. Here is a great quote I heard from marketing guru, Kevin Nations: “Winners take imperfect action.” Think about it.
2. It’s so easy to get buried at the alter of “Planning”– and though much of it is crucial – we lose sight of the big picture. The phone calls, research, meetings, continued education, etc. take on a life of their own. This is a great procrastination strategy, which deserves your attention. Your tasks should ideally be off-shoots of the smaller goals & steps which trigger positive actions and bring you closer to achieving your main goals
Alan was busy creating forms that he would need in a year from now, but wasn’t working on the fundamentals of attracting new clients. Till you can’t figure out how to wring more than 24 hours out of each day, learn to prioritize our efforts.
And this is a big one…toiling for predominantly fruitless activities causes burn-out! You simply can’t afford it. (There must be a reason why over 85% of businesses never make it beyond the second year!)
3. Do I really deserve to be successful? If you are hesitating to answer (even for a moment 
) you are actively derailing any success that has been pointed in your direction! The Law of Attraction interprets all your positive & negative vibrations automatically. Do you own feelings that you don’t deserve to receive success? You can be sure you won’t end up burdened with it!
